Taxi Dome works by reservation: each ride is arranged in advance, with an agreed time and meeting point. Whether you need to reach the station, your hotel, a restaurant or an appointment in the Locarno area, a few precise details make your request easier to assess. The service is described on the page taxi around Locarno, by reservation.
1. Give the exact pick-up point
Share the full address or the name of the property: hotel, home, station or another place. In the old town and pedestrian areas not every spot can be reached by car. In those cases we agree a convenient meeting point together.
2. Choose the time and destination
Give the date, departure time and destination. If you need to arrive by a set time, for example for a train or an appointment, mention it in your request: it helps us set the pick-up time.
3. Count passengers and luggage
Tell us how many people are travelling and how much luggage you have. If you need child seats or want to carry bulky items, let us know in advance. From 15 November 2026, groups of five to seven people can travel together in the Mercedes V-Class Extra Long.
4. Arriving at or leaving from the station
If you arrive by train at Locarno station in Muralto, add the train number, date and arrival time. We agree the meeting point with you. You will find the details on the page taxi for Locarno station and Muralto.
5. Locarno, Ascona and other places
Local taxi rides around Locarno, for example between Locarno and Ascona, are charged by the meter. Transfers to airports and cities have the fixed prices shown in the price list, valid for daytime transfers from Monday to Thursday, public holidays excluded. At night, on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and for other destinations we prepare a tailored quote. See fares and conditions and, if you are leaving from or heading to Ascona, the page taxi in Ascona and transfers on request.
6. Confirm before you travel
The form is a quote request: the ride is only agreed once Taxi Dome confirms it. Before confirming, check what the price includes and which conditions apply to waiting time, changes and cancellations.
