How we handle personal data when you visit the website, request a quote or travel with Taxi Dome. This policy follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for clients in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The party responsible for processing your data is:
Taxi Dome di Chiefari, Domenico Chiefari
Via Rinaldo Simen 18, 6600 Locarno, Switzerland

For any data protection question, please contact us at the address above.
02What data we process
Requests and bookings
When you contact us through the form, by phone, email or WhatsApp, we receive the details you share: name, phone, email, pick-up and destination, date and time, number of passengers and any notes (luggage, flight or train number, child seat, hotel or company).
Carrying out the ride
To carry out the ride we use the pick-up and drop-off addresses, flight or train details to follow any delays and, if needed, invoicing details.
Technical data
When you visit the website, the server automatically logs technical data such as IP address, date and time, page requested and browser type. This is needed to run and secure the website.
Statistics and measurement
Only with your consent do we collect statistics on website use and on the effectiveness of our campaigns (see section 6).
03Purposes and legal bases
- Answering requests, preparing quotes and organising your journey: performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Accounting and legal obligations, such as keeping business records: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Website security and operation: legitimate interest in a safe and reliable website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Statistics and advertising measurement: only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
We do not make automated decisions about you and we do not sell your data.
04Providers and recipients
We share data only when necessary and with providers who process it on our behalf:
- Swiss Web Studio, Locarno (Switzerland): technical management, maintenance and managed hosting of the website, on servers of Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva (Switzerland).
- Email provider: receiving form requests and emails.
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.): only if you choose to message us on WhatsApp; WhatsApp’s own privacy policy then also applies.
- Google Ireland Ltd.: Google Analytics and Google Ads, only with your consent.
- Authorities: where required by law.
The website’s fonts are served from our own server, so a visit sends no data to Google Fonts.
05Transfers abroad
We process data mainly in Switzerland. Some providers, such as Google and Meta, may also process data in the United States or other countries. Such transfers go to countries with adequate protection, for example under the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or rely on standard contractual clauses.
06Cookies, statistics and advertising
Technical cookies needed for the website are always active. Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion measurement are only enabled after you consent. They show us which pages are useful and how many quote requests and clicks on the call and WhatsApp buttons come from the website and our campaigns. If you also accept the “Advertising” category, Google may also use this data to show you relevant ads on other websites.
Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the page. Full details are in the cookie policy.
07How long we keep data
- Requests that do not lead to a booking: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Bookings, invoices and business records: 10 years, as required by the Swiss Code of Obligations.
- Technical server data: for a limited period, as needed for the security and operation of the website.
- Statistical data: for the period stated in the cookie policy.
08Your rights
You can ask at any time:
- to know which data we hold about you;
- to correct inaccurate data or have it deleted;
- to restrict processing or object to it;
- to receive the data you gave us in a common format;
- to withdraw a consent, without affecting earlier processing.
Write to info@taxidome.ch. You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the EU, the supervisory authority in your country.
09Security
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to data is limited to the people who need it to organise the service.
10Changes
We may update this policy when the service or the law changes. The version published on this page, with its last-updated date, is the one that applies.
